Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh participated in the Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) Project Consortium Meeting, organized by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) Pakistan in Lahore . The WRAP Project focuses on strengthening water governance in Pakistan by improving institutional coordination, supporting evidence-based policy development, and promoting research-driven solutions for sustainable water resource management. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Farrukh highlighted innovative research initiatives at UCP, including a nanofiltration-based wastewater treatment plant and liquid nano-clay technology designed for irrigation in desert areas to enhance agricultural productivity. The meeting brought together leading experts, researchers, and institutional partners committed to advancing sustainable water management and strengthening policy engagement for the country’s water sector.
