UCP Debating Society hosted “Speaker of the Year” Inter-Departmental Declamation Competition, on November 11,2024. The event showcased 45 talented students competing in three language categories:
• English
• Urdu
• Punjabi
The competition aimed to promote healthy debate, critical thinking and public speaking across various academic departments. Haroon Rafique and Rehan Tariq graced the event as guests of honour.
Participants were awarded with cash prizes, certificates and souvenirs. This competition not only highlighted the exceptional debating talent within UCP but also reinforced the university’s commitment to promoting a culture of articulate expression and academic excellence.
