Department of Basic & Applied Chemistry, successfully organized Lecture II of the “Exploring Global Scholarship Opportunities in Sciences” series, titled “Spotlight on Commonwealth Scholarships – Introducing the Global Scholars Connect Series (Hybrid Mode)”. The session provided an in-depth overview of Commonwealth Scholarships, covering Master’s, PhD, Split-site, and Postdoctoral schemes, while offering valuable guidance on crafting competitive applications. Esteemed speakers Dr. Syeda Farwa Naqvi and Syeda Minaal Ali shared their inspiring scholarship journeys and offered practical advice on proposal writing and building international research careers. With active participation from students nationwide, both in person and online, the seminar fostered learning, dialogue, and mentorship. Organized by Dr. Salma Batool and Dr. Momal Akram, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, the event reinforced the department’s commitment to empowering future scientists through global exposure and academic excellence.
