Volunteers in Service (VIS) Department hosted another exciting Workshop on Reuse of Materials that blended creativity with sustainability. Volunteers and IBTIDA Scholars rolled up their sleeves and discovered how something as simple as an old newspaper could be transformed into eco-friendly grocery bags and even decorative paper roses. But the real impact goes beyond creativity. These young changemakers passed on their new skills to IBTIDA Beneficiaries, helping them turn recycling into a source of livelihood. The activity not only encouraged innovation but also inspired participants to rethink waste as a resource and embrace sustainable practices in everyday life. This vision contributed to global goals including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education – Target 4.7), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
