A delegation from the University of Central Punjab (UCP) recently visited ELC Biogen to explore potential collaborations in areas like genetic research, cancer diagnostics, skill development, and genome sequencing. The visit was led by Pro-Rector Professor Dr. Hammad Naveed and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST) Professor Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, accompanied by faculty members from the Departments of Basic and Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Microbiology. The delegation aimed to discuss ways in which both institutions could work together to push forward advancements in these critical fields.
The primary focus of the visit was to explore innovative approaches in healthcare, nanotechnology, and biotechnology, with the goal of contributing to Pakistan’s scientific and medical progress. By fostering such collaborations, UCP hopes to strengthen its research capabilities while making a meaningful impact on the nation’s healthcare sector.
