Intermational Crisis Chamber- UCP hosted the fourth edition of University of Central Punjab’s Model UN Conference from 1st to 3rd November 2019.
This year’s conference was skillfully crafted with the art of diplomacy and witnessed simulating debate sessions in 06 diverse committees including:
DISEC
SPECPOL
UNDP
UNWOMEN
UNSC
PNA
The conference hosted delegates from around the country and international chairs from Jordan, Germany and Lebanon respectively.
Days of heated debates witnessed exuberant social nights including: A Qawalli Night featuring Shehzad Santoo Khan on day one and a concert featuring Raga Boys and Mustafa Zahid on day two.
The conference was formally closed on the third day after the passing of resolutions followed by the closing ceremony, with the following results:
Best Delegation: Middle School Category; Lahore Grammar School JT-Boys
Best Delegation: High School Category: Cresencet Model High School
Best Delegation: University Category: Government College University.
At the end, the Chief Guest, Mr. Tariq Subhani Ex-MPA awarded the directors,chairs and winning delegates with awards.
