An international delegate from leading universities in Ireland along with officials from Education in Ireland office visited UCP on Friday 11th October, 2024 to explore opportunities of academic collaborations between the two countries. The Deputy Director International Office, Mr. Sikandar Sethi received the guests and provided them with the overview of UCP, its faculties and different internationalization initiatives followed by one-on-one discussion of delegate members with the Deans and faculty members to discuss opportunities to establish partnerships on student/staff exchanges, faculty development and research collaborations. The University of Central Punjab also organized on-campus booths for each visiting Irish university for the interaction of students directly with the Irish officials to explore opportunities for further studies and scholarships in Ireland. The delegate appreciated the efforts of UCP to provide international higher education opportunities to its students and establish academic ties with leading universities around the globe. The event concluded by vote of thanks by the UCP International Office and presentation of souvenirs from Provost UCP, Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob to the esteemed members of the Irish delegate .
