The University of Central Punjab and Fast Cables Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at fostering sustainability-focused research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration. The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Muhammad Usman Sheikh, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Fast Cables Limited, and Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector of UCP, during a ceremony attended by academic and industry representatives. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Director Research at UCP, Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and Dr. Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
As part of this collaboration, Fast Cables Limited has launched two prestigious merit-based awards to promote academic excellence and sustainability.
