Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science & Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infinity Health Care Lahore to strengthen academia–industry linkages and enhance professional training opportunities for students. The collaboration will focus on student internships for MLT students, collaborative research initiatives, industrial visits, and joint seminars, workshops, conferences, and other academic activities. The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, Dean FOST; Dr. Aatif Amin, Head Department of Microbiology; Dr. Mohsin Gulzar Barq, Assistant Professor Microbiology & Faculty Industry Liaison Officer; and Ms. Iqra Jamil, Lecturer, representing UCP, along with Ms. Sidra Shehzad, Lab Manager, and Mr. Naveed Elahi Nasr, Business Development Director, representing Infinity Lab & Al Nasar Lab and Diagnostic Centre. This partnership marks a significant step toward bridging theoretical learning with practical exposure, empowering MLT students with industry-relevant skills and real-world insight.
