University of Central Punjab (UCP) welcomed a delegation from NESPAK for the signing of an MoU aimed at enhancing cooperation between academia and industry. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed, Pro-Rector, UCP, and attended by Dr. Rizwan Shad, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Kafeel Ahmed, Head, Civil Engineering; and Dr. Muhammad Kashif, Head, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Representing NESPAK were Engr. Abur Rehman, Head of Training and Development, Mr. Khawar Arif, and Ms. Farah Shaheen.
The discussions focused on collaborative efforts in training, internships, joint technical projects, faculty placements, and participation in the upcoming UCP’s 3rd International Conference on New Trends in Civil Engineering. UCP also extended an invitation for NESPAK employees to enroll in its postgraduate programs. Furthermore, both sides agreed to involve UCP faculty in NESPAK’s commercial projects to advance research and development.
