UCP signed an MoU with Pakistan International Printers (PIP), marking a step towards strengthening academia-industry collaboration. This partnership aims to promote collaboration in education, research, and professional training, while generating job opportunities in this industrial sector. The MoU was chaired by Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector, and signed by Mr. Saad Haleem Khan, Managing Director of PIP, along with Dr. Muhammad Athar Siddiqui, Dean of the UCP Business School. The ceremony was coordinated by Mr. Muhammad Qasim Mughal and attended by senior representatives from UCP and PIP, including Mrs. Zahida Hassan, COO, PIP, and Mr. Mustafa Hanan Mehboob, FILO, FOMS.
Following the signing of the MoU, Mr. Saad Haleem Khan was given a tour of the UCP campus, where he discussed interdisciplinary collaborations in the fields of food technology, packaging, and printing with Mr. Yaser Awan, Director Research and Innovation; Dr. Akhyar Farrukh, Director Research; Dr. Rizwan Shad, Dean, FoE; and Mr. Amjad Niaz, Director Admin.
