The Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science & Technology , successfully translated awareness into action by organizing a free breast cancer screening for 14 UCP lady guards. This initiative followed an earlier awareness seminar conducted in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Pakistan, aiming to promote women’s health and preventive care within the university community. With the dedicated support of Prof. Dr. H. Rizwana Kausar, a formal request was made to Pink Ribbon Pakistan for practical implementation, resulting in this impactful screening activity. UCP extends heartfelt gratitude to Pink Ribbon Pakistan for their unwavering commitment to transforming awareness into meaningful action and fostering a healthier community.
