Directorate of Advanced Studies & Research (DASR) organized the PhD Open Defense of Ms. Zaib-un-Nisa, where she defended her dissertation titled “Pattern of Immune Biomarker in Pathogenesis of Tuberculosis in Pakistani Population,” supervised by Dr. Basit Zeeshan. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, Dean, Microbiology Department. It was assessed by an internal examiner, Dr. Aatif Amin, along with two external examiners: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Faisal from Punjab University and Prof. Dr. Hassan Mushtaq from UVAS. The defense featured a Q&A session, during which Ms. Zaib-un-Nisa addressed questions raised by attending faculty members and fellow PhD scholars, reflecting on the depth and relevance of her research.
