Introduction:

University of Central Punjab, in collaboration with the Pakistan Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (PHVAC&R) Society, is organizing a Conference and Project Expo for students at its campus in Lahore. This event will serve as a platform for students, researchers, and professionals to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative projects, and foster industry-academia linkages in engineering and allied technologies. This event is tailored for the students to allow them to showcase their research and technical projects to the industry.

The conference will provide a platform to connect industry, businesses and entrepreneurs with students, researchers and faculty members for the exchange of knowledge and innovative ideas for a sustainable and cool future.

Sustainable cooling and refrigeration technologies and optimization of relevant systems to reduce energy consumption for air-conditioning and refrigeration is the need of the hour. The HVAC and Refrigeration sector is not a luxury anymore and is the basic need to ensure human comfort and food storage. The challenges of climate change, natural disaster, increasing outdoor temperature and smog needs to be addressed urgently and efficiently. To this end academia and industry have to work in collaboration and concert to transform ideas, innovation and research into sustainable products and solutions.

This conference being held at University of Central Punjab in collaboration with Pakistan HVAC&R society will provide a platform to connect industry, businesses and entrepreneurs with students, researchers and faculty members for the exchange of knowledge and innovative ideas for a sustainable and cool future, that will ensure comfortable living without any threat to food supply chain.

Call for Papers:

We are inviting research and technical articles on following themes related to Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration and Energy Efficiency.

  • Thermal Comfort and Indoor Air Quality
  • Control and Automation including VFD, IoT
  • Sustainable Cooling and Energy Conservation
  • Energy Efficiency and Performance Optimization

Conference Awards/Prizes:

There will be special prizes for three best papers and best innovative projects. The awards will be finalized based on technical innovation, entrepreneurial capacity, sustainability and technology readiness level. All presenters and participants will get a certificate of participation.

Registration Fee:

There is no registration fee for presenter and student participant. The conference is fully sponsored by Pakistan HVAC&R Society through its member organizations and businesses.

For professionals from the industry and academia: Rs. 1000/– including lunch, tea and certificate of participation.
