The 27th Academic Council Meeting of the University of Central Punjab was chaired by Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector UCP. The meeting focused on strengthening the academic framework and enhancing the student experience, with key decisions made on academic initiatives and strategic priorities.
Discussions covered revisions to curricula, the introduction of new courses in multiple faculties, and approval of twelve new programs, including two MS programs. The Council also reviewed the Grading Scheme and amendments to UCP’s undergraduate regulations. Additionally, the establishment of a new Department of Interdisciplinary Studies was announced, reflecting UCP’s commitment to innovative education.
