The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at UCP organized the first pre-placement meeting under the Faculty Industry Placement Program 2025. The session aimed to strengthen academia-industry linkages by connecting faculty members from different faculties with industry representatives from Siemens Pakistan Engineering Co. Ltd. and ML Beach (Pvt) Ltd.
Key points in the discussion included collaborative research, faculty placements, aligning academia with industry demands, and overcoming challenges in student induction. Industry representatives, including Mr. Ahmad Azhar, Manager Sales, Electrification & Automation, Siemens; Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed, Head of Corporate Business Development, Siemens; and Mr. Qazi Ammar Arshad, Co-Founder & President, ML Bench, attended the meeting.
