A Digital Pakistan Speed Programming Workshop was organized by UCP in collaboration with Ignite and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan. Industry professionals, academic experts, and certified coding mentors were invited to serve as trainers at the workshop, providing students from various universities hands-on training to develop coding skills under time constraints that are in high demand in the global software industry. This not only enhanced the participants’ coding speed but also improved their problem-solving techniques and their ability to work under pressure. The event concluded with a competitive programming contest, where students put their newly learned skills to the test and received certificates and recognition. The workshop proved to be a milestone in enhancing the technological capacities of young Pakistanis, highlighting the importance of public-private partnerships in fostering innovation and education in the country.
