The Department of Microbiology hosted a Bio-Rad Explorer Program workshop designed to help students explore their potential through science. The session included a seminar on Next Generation Sequencing by Mr. Salman Jamil, followed by a talk on inquiry-based biological education by Mr. Shoaib Rana, and a DNA Extraction activity using Bio-Rad kits led by Ms. Momna Nazir. In this hands-on activity, students isolated DNA from cheek cells and preserved it in DNA necklaces.
