Faculty of Engineering organized an industrial visit to the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System for students of Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, and BS Robotics and Intelligent Systems. Accompanied by two faculty members, students toured the Operations and Maintenance Department, gaining knowledge about metro rail management and control systems. They also engaged in discussions with the on-site technical staff and visited the train washing area, where they observed the automated processes involved in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the metro trains. This visit to one of Pakistan’s most advanced urban transportation projects enhanced their understanding of technical processes and provided them with exposure to engineering systems.
