Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the UCP Dramatics Club, hosted a legislative theatre “Bila Unwaan 4”, centered on the issue of begging. The performance revealed the begging mafia’s dark world and its harmful effect on justice. Following that was an engaging panel discussion led by the Chief Guest, Justice (R) Khalid Mehmood, Former Chief Justice, Lahore High Court, and the panelists: Ms. Neelum, draftsman; Ms. Rubi Ahmad, NGO representative; Mr. Ahmad Pansota, Barrister; and Ms. Rushda Lodhi, Parliamentarian, Provincial Assembly, Punjab. The session encouraged lively discussion among legal experts, social workers, and human rights activists about the legal, ethical, and societal implications dramatized in the performance.
