Directorate of Advanced Studies & Research (DASR) organized the PhD Open Defense of Mr. Daud Sibtain, who defended his dissertation titled “Designing a Proactive Frequency Control for a High Order Renewable-Based Power System with Communication Delays and Uncertainties,” under the supervision of Dr. Riaz Ahmad Rana. The session was chaired by Dean FOE, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, and assessed by two external examiners, Prof. Dr. Saima Zafar from FAST-NU and Dr. Imran Javed from UET, as well as an internal examiner, Dr. Fesal Toosy. The defense featured a dynamic Q&A session, reflecting the depth and relevance of the candidate’s research.
