On Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Diagnostics short course day 4, Dr. Aatif delivered a comprehensive lecture on “Electrophoresis Techniques, DNA/RNA Extraction and PCR Basics, and SDS-PAGE Electrophoresis for Serum Proteins.” He explained the principles, methodologies and diagnostic applications of these advanced techniques, highlighting their significance in both research and clinical biochemistry. Following the lecture, Dr. Aatif conducted a hands-on laboratory session where participants had the opportunity to practically observe and understand the processes of electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR setup, and SDS-PAGE analysis.
