Further to Faculty of Engineering and Honda Pakistan’s collaboration, Honda’s team visited UCP Library and donated a number of books titled: “Reputation Management & Crisis Communication”. The team included Mr. Arshad Rao, Senior Manager and Mr. Wajid Subhani, Manager, of Safety, Health & Corporate Governance, Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited. They also gifted personal copies to Dean, FOE, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad and Director Libraries, Ms. Rakshanda Kokab.
Honda, one of the leading Japan based automobile company having one of the primary objectives that is “To be the company that society wants to exist”. Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited is a subsidiary of Honda in Pakistan and contributing to the field of education & health of people and promoting safety culture in the society under CSR. The book on “Crisis Management” is one of the efforts and its purpose is to share the crisis management techniques and realize students of all discipline the importance of studying books for personal growth.
In the near future, Honda Pakistan and UCP will jointly arrange traffic safety seminars to make youngsters realize the importance of following the traffic safety rules & regulations to achieving the global target of zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050 in Pakistan. They will distribute safety helmet among deserving participants as a gift from Honda Atlas cars (Pakistan) Limited.
