The Department of Basic & Applied Chemistry, FOST-UCP, successfully launched the Global Scholars Connect Series with a seminar on “Exploring Global Scholarship Opportunities in Sciences” on September 18, 2025. Featuring inspiring talks by Dr. Ibrar Ahmed (Founder & CEO, Alpha Genomics Pvt. Ltd., Islamabad) and Mr. Hassan Mushtaq (DAAD Fellow), the event attracted 200+ participants from 50+ universities across Pakistan. The session was organized by Dr. Salma Batool (Associate Professor) and Dr. Momal Akram (Lecturer), and was honored by the precense of Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar (Dean, FOST) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh (HOD, Chemistry), who appreciated the organizers’ efforts and awarded certificates to speakers and participants.
