University of Central Punjab and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia held an online collaborative meeting to strengthen academic ties and foster long-term cooperation between the two institutions.
Prof. Dr. Irfan Sabir, Faculty of Management Sciences, and, Prof. Dr. Tahir Saleem, Head of the Department of English represented UCP. Mr. Cornelius Anuar Abdullah McAfee, Director International Centre, Dr. Nurshafawati Ahmad Sani, Lecturer, Faculty of Languages and Communication, and Ms. Iram Shehzadi, PhD Candidate at UniSZA and President of the International Student Society (ISS) represented UniSZA.
Key collaborative activities discussed included: joint publications, online guest lectures, virtual student exchange classes, collaborative research proposals, joint seminars and webinars, student research conferences, cross-cultural exchange projects, and co-authored case studies. These initiatives are designed to promote mutual learning, knowledge-sharing, and innovative research opportunities. Both sides expressed enthusiasm to move forward with the proposed activities, ensuring long-term benefits for students, faculty, and researchers alike.
