Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Central Punjab held the Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP) post-placement presentations where faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) and the Faculty of Information Technology & Computer Science (FOIT&CS) shared their industry experiences and outcomes. Dr. Ali Ahmad (FOE) collaborated with SkyPower, Creative Group, achieving R&D outputs including a Transformer Monitoring System and paving the way for EV charging and IoT research. Zain Asghar (FOIT&CS) worked at PikesSoft on fintech and CI/CD projects, leading to an MoU, student internships, and curriculum updates, while Syed Irtaza Muzaffar Shah (FOIT) contributed to Urdu Text-to-Speech and AI-powered tools at Purelogics, expanding collaboration in AI and NLP research. The session highlighted ORIC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academia–industry linkages, foster innovation, and create hands-on learning opportunities for UCP’s faculty and students.
