Dr. Muhammad Aslam Javed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics (FOST), successfully completed an 8-week placement at System Heuristics under the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP). The placement enabled Dr. Javed to collaborate with the Lahore-based AI and data science firm specializing in machine learning, web development, and digital solutions. His expertise in fuzzy similarity measures and fuzzy optimization aligned with the program’s vision of fostering academia–industry collaboration, reflecting FOST’s commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in emerging technological fields.
