Department of Microbiology, in collaboration with the Human Resource Department, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar, in partnership with Al Nasar Lab and Pink Ribbon Pakistan. The event featured esteemed speakers including Mr. Omer Aftab (CEO, Pink Ribbon Pakistan), Prof. Dr. Farooq Ahmed Rana (Consultant Surgeon, Jinnah Hospital Lahore), and Prof. Dr. Kausar Bano (Consultant Oncologist, JHL/AIMC Lahore), who shared valuable insights on early detection, treatment, and preventive strategies. Dr. Aatif Amin, Head of the Department of Microbiology, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of awareness and timely diagnosis, while the Dean expressed gratitude to the speakers and praised the initiative. The guests appreciated the efforts of organizers Ms. Iqra Jamil and Mr. M. Tahir Ishaq for successfully arranging the seminar, which concluded with an awareness walk symbolizing collective commitment to the fight against breast cancer.
