The Troubled Waters symposium held at Daastan brought together farmers, community members, forestry department officials, and cultural activists for an engaging roundtable discussion on the far-reaching effects of climate change on Pakistan’s agricultural practices, economic stability, and social fabric. The event served as a collaborative platform to explore how shifting climate patterns are reshaping cultivation, livelihoods, and community dynamics across both rural and urban areas. UCP’s higher management and members of the Environment Protection Society actively participated in the discussion, emphasizing the university’s commitment to environmental awareness, sustainability, and community engagement in addressing the global climate crisis.
