Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, organized an International Seminar titled “Radiopharmaceuticals: A Symbolic Merge of Chemistry, Biology and Medicine.” The distinguished speaker, Dr. Waqas Rafique, Cyclotron & Radiopharmaceuticals Specialist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, delivered an insightful talk on the interdisciplinary applications of radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostics and therapeutics. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Head of the Department, highlighted the significance of such international seminars in fostering academic growth and innovation, and presented a shield to the guest speaker in appreciation of his valuable contribution.
