MS Human Nutrition and Dietetics

The MS Human Nutrition and Dietetics program aims to advance clinical and public health nutrition knowledge by addressing critical challenges like malnutrition, obesity, and diet-related chronic diseases. To be awarded the MS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a student must successfully complete a total of 30 credit hours, which includes 24 credit hours of coursework and 6 credit hours allocated to a research thesis. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale is required for graduation. In addition, the student must successfully defend their research thesis before an academic evaluation committee. The awarding of the degree is also contingent upon the fulfillment of all university and departmental academic regulations, including adherence to ethical standards in research and overall academic conduct.
