University of Central Punjab organized its annual Mushaira, Bayad-e-Taimoor Hassan Taimoor, to welcome Batch ’25, under the guidance of the Students Services Center and headed by the master of Urdu literature, Mr. Abbas Tabish. Thousands of students Thousands of students attended the Mushaira, where they did not just listen to poetry but experienced verses that untangled deep feelings and guided them through a gentle emotional renewal. Renowned poets including Shaheen Abbas, Hamida Shahin, Azhar Faragh, Anjum Saleemi, Ali Zaryoun, Ahmed Saeed, Zia Mazkoor, Wahab Ahmed Jamal, Ali Qaim Naqvi, Mah-e-Nau, Zaibunnisa Wasiq, Aman Shahzadi, and Kafeel Rana captivated the audience, while Mr. Haider Miraj conducted the event, creating an engaging atmosphere throughout. Students not only continued this tradition but also developed it with a new rhythm and contemporary tone.
