Department of Biotechnology held its Industrial Advisory Board Meeting and Board of Studies, chaired by Dr. Asma Zafar. The session was attended by industry representatives Dr. Shaista Javaid and Dr. Jahangir Khan, along with academic experts Prof. Dr. Hamid Mukhtar and Dr. Muhammad Khurshid. Key discussions included approval of the revised BS Biotechnology scheme of studies, strengthening internships, industrial linkages, placements, student projects, and proposals for short professional certification programs aligned with market needs. Synopses and supervisor allocations for MS Biotechnology and MS Forensic Sciences were also approved.
