Under Mian Amer Mahmood’s leadership, Chairman Punjab Group and Rector, University of Central Punjab, a delegation comprising Prof. Dr. Daniel Ladley, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Head of College and Executive Dean, University of Leicester School of Business, Prof. Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector, Univesitry of Central Punjab and Prof. Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Dean Internationalization, University of Leicester met with Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz and had discussions focused on the importance of STEM and STEAM education as well as the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning and research. Dr. Hammad and Dr. Daniel Ladley appreciated the Chief Minister’s efforts on the Hoonhar Scholarship Initiative, highlighting its impact on promoting higher education opportunities for talented students. CM commended UCP’s 2+2 initiative and shared positive remarks on the new collaborative program being launched between the University of Central Punjab and the University of Leicester, appreciating its potential to improve academic exchange, research, and skill development.
