Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization in collaboration with the Faculty of Science and Technology organized a seminar titled “Smog Pollution in Lahore: Causes, Consequences, and Control (From Sampling to Solutions)”. The session featured Dr. Haider A. Khwaja, Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, University at Albany, USA, who shared expert insights on smog challenges, spanning scientific sampling to practical solutions, under the ongoing 2023 joint project between UCP and University at Albany, with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh and Dr. Khwaja as principal investigators. The seminar was attended by the Pro-Rector, Dr. Hammad Naveed, Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, an EPA representative, HODs, faculty members, and students, and concluded with the distribution of closing remarks by Dr. Hammad Naveed.
