Class of 2025, you have come a long way. From your first day on campus to this defining milestone of achievement. After years of perseverance, dedication, and unwavering commitment, the University of Central Punjab celebrated the accomplishments of its graduates at the 28th Convocation, held over two days at the UCP Campus. During the convocation, a total of 2,109 degrees were awarded, including 22 PhD degrees, along with one Roll of Honor and a Certificate of Merit, while 253 position holders were recognized with medals for academic excellence. Graduates from across the university’s faculties stood ready to step into the future, equipped with knowledge, integrity, and purpose.
The convocation featured multiple sessions, each graced by chief guests who shared inspiring insights with the graduating class. Mian Amer Mahmood, Chairman Board of Governors, UCP, served as the Chief Guest in the first session, while Dr. Amjad Saqib, CEO Akhuwat Foundation, graced the ceremony as Guest of Honour. Addressing the graduates, Dr. Amjad Saqib urged students to rise above personal interests and contribute meaningfully to society, particularly for the millions of children deprived of education. He emphasized hard work, truthfulness, strength of character, and the spirit of sharing, encouraging graduates to keep their dreams alive and pursue them with hope and determination.
In his welcome address, Dr. Hamaad Naveed, Pro-Rector UCP, highlighted the university’s significant achievements during 2025, including the impactful role of the Student Services Centre, the entrepreneurial success of Takhleeq, and the strong performance of UCP’s Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). With hundreds of research publications, multiple patents, grants, industry collaborations, and innovation initiatives, UCP reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence, research, innovation, and industry engagement. The 28th Convocation of UCP stood as a proud celebration of hard work, resilience, and achievement, marking the beginning of a new chapter for its graduates as they step forward to shape the future with confidence and purpose
