The opening ceremony marks the formal opening of TAAKRA 2026 bringing over 4,200 participants from 200+ institutions including 700 students from UCP for the first time across 22 categories and 64 competitions. It featured Deputy Director Student Affairs, Ms. Aqsa Sarfraz’s opening remarks followed by Pro-Rector, Dr. Hammad Naveed and Provost, Muhammad Yaqoob’s keynote addresses, deans and directors were also in attendance. Event heads and campus ambassadors were formally recognized for their roles. The trophy reveal and ceremonial cake cutting marks the beginning of an unforgettable journey toward competitive excellence.
