Department of Microbiology, FOST-UCP organized “Medical Laboratory Professionals: The Heart of Healthcare”. The event included talks by invited speakers on the role of laboratory professionals in healthcare, with a focus on diagnostic processes, laboratory practices, and their application in medical treatment. The session addressed the function of laboratory testing in disease identification, monitoring, and clinical decision-making. Students participated in the session as part of academic activities.
