Faculty of Management Sciences’ educational visit to the Sialkot Sports Industries Development Centre (SSIDC) was organized for students of SME Management, Design, and Technology programs. The visit, arranged by Ms. Sidra Nasreem, Principal Lecturer, FOMS, included 28 participants, comprising students and faculty members, and aimed to provide practical exposure to SME development and government-supported industrial facilities by bridging classroom learning with industrial operations. During the visit, students observed government facilitation mechanisms for Small and Medium Enterprises, along with production processes, quality standards, innovation, and entrepreneurship practices in the sports goods manufacturing sector, and interacted with SSIDC representatives, Mr. Engr. Muhammad Sarwar Hanif, Project Director – SIDC & PDC, and Mr. Waqas Tarar, gaining insights into industrial management, business operations, and the role of public-sector initiatives in strengthening SMEs.
