Faculty of Management Sciences’ session on “Bridging Academic HRM Concepts with Industry Realities” was organized by Ms. Sameia Farhat and conducted by Syed Irtaza Hussain. The session focused on HRM applications in organizational settings, covering HR policies, staff augmentation, change management, and the evolving role of HR professionals. It also highlighted contemporary practices such as KPIs, HR dashboards, performance management systems, and data-driven decision-making, along with recruitment practices including LinkedIn presence, professional branding, and digital visibility for career development.
