Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Director, ORIC, and Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority along with faculty members, staff, and participants. The delegation received a briefing on the Authority’s integrated surveillance systems, emergency response mechanisms, and the use of technology and data analytics in public safety and urban management. Participants also toured key operational facilities and engaged with officials to gain insights into the practical application of technology in governance and service delivery while strengthening institutional linkages and experiential learning opportunities.
