Faculty of Engineering organized the 4th UCP Engineering Boot Camp for prospective undergraduate engineering students on July 29, 2024. It aimed at providing A levels and Intermediate students with a platform to excel in their knowledge and practical skills. 370 students from different schools and colleges of Lahore registered for the Bootcamp, and 201 students participated.
The event had four major categories:
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Engineering and Robotics
- Introduction to Space Technology
- 3D Printing
- Hackathon.
Pro-Rector Dr Hammad Naveed, Provost Mr Muhammad Yaqoob, Dr Rizwan Shad, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Dr Muhammad Saadi, Head of Electrical Engineering Department, Dr Muhammad Kashif, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Dr Muhammad Kafeel, Head of Civil Engineering Department appreciated the efforts of the FOE’s faculty and staff. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants.
