We are excited to share that five startups from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology at UCP, supported by Takhleeq , have been chosen for the NutriBiz 2024 SME Innovation Challenge! This important challenge, organized by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement, and the World Food Programme (WFP), aims to find and support new ideas that help solve food security problems in Pakistan.
As part of the program, our selected startups recently took part in workshops at NIC Islamabad, organized by Fruits of Sustainability. These workshops provided them with useful advice on how to grow their businesses, enter the market, and build sustainable practices that can create lasting change.
At Takhleeq, we are dedicated to solving some of Pakistan’s biggest challenges, such as climate change, water and food security, and poverty. With climate change and resource shortages threatening food systems around the world, it’s more important than ever to develop local, innovative solutions that can help secure food and protect against future risks.
This program will help our startups improve their business models and take their products to market, making a positive impact on Pakistan’s food ecosystem and creating a more sustainable future.
