Department of English – FOLL – UCP hosted the much-anticipated colloquium, “Language is Everywhere: Lessons from 20 Years of Interdisciplinary Research in Oxford and Maryland,” featuring the inspiring Colin Phillips (Head of Linguistics, Oxford University) as our keynote speaker. It was a privilege to have brilliant minds from NUSt, LUMS, AL Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, UET Lahore, Minhaj University and FAST come together to explore the relevance and future of interdisciplinarity in Pakistan. Special thanks to Zartasha Mustansar (NUST), Abdul Hameed Azeemi (LUMS), Dr. Sana Shams (UET), Dr. Waqasia Naeem (Minhaj University) and Dr. Iram Amjad (FAST) for their valuable contributions. This event marks a milestone in our journey toward building impactful interdisciplinary collaborations and shaping innovative research in Pakistan.
