Faculty of Media and Mass Communication organized an industrial visit for BS students specializing in Film, TV, and Digital Media to Dunya News, Lahore News, and Daily Dunya on November 22, 2024. The visit was planned by Dr. Atif Ashraf (HoD, Film, TV & Digital Media Department) and supervised by Mr. Muhammad Shahid (Senior Lecturer). The visit commenced with an introduction to Daily Dunya (newspaper) and Lahore News. Mr. Muhammad Muneeb, HR Manager at Dunya News, provided an overview of various departments, including the News Control Room, PCR, Programming Department, and the sets of popular shows such as Mazaq Raat. The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged with experts and received insightful advice. As a gesture of appreciation, Mr. Shahid presented a UCP souvenir to Mr. Muneeb.
