UCP Dramatic Club successfully staged its play, an adaptation of Saadat Hasan Manto’s short story “Kacheri ka Ladoo”, on December 24 and 26-28, 2024, at the UCP auditorium. Directed by Mr. Aamir Nawaz, the production showcased the exceptional teamwork and talent of our students. We extend our gratitude to chief patron and Dean Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt, patrons Ms. Ayesha Kashif, Ms. Noor ul Ain, and Ms. Umaima Lone for their steadfast support, and commend Abdullah Nadeem, the President, and his team for their remarkable efforts.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector of UCP, on the second day. On the third day, esteemed dignitaries such as Prof. Sajida Haider Vandal, CEO of THAAP, and former VC of NCA, Dr. Hassan Shah, former VC of GCU, Dr. Perwez Vandalb from THAAP, Dr. Hamid Mukhtar, Dr. Atif Yaqub, and Dr. Sameer Ahmed from the GCU Dramatic Club attended and applauded the outstanding performances. Due to an enthusiastic audience response, the play was extended to a fourth day.
