Volunteers in Service (VIS) department was invited to a discussion on Global Volunteering Standards Toolkit being prepared by Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO International) and Bargad.
Ms. Sabiha Shaheen (Executive Director, Bargad) and Mr. Iqbal Hussain Butt (Program Advisor, Bargad) shared the Global Volunteering Standards Toolkit draft as UCP-VIS department is a pioneer in promotion of volunteering at higher education level. Mr. Muhammad Hammad Ur Rehman (Head VIS) appreciated the efforts put in by VSO International and Bargad.
Ms. Sabiha Shaheen also shared that UCP-VIS has been added to the toolkit as Case Study and its success has been appreciated. This toolkit will be published on their website and printed copies will be shared all over Pakistan with all institutions working for promotion of volunteering in Pakistan.
