The University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mensa Pakistan, the national chapter of the renowned international high IQ society. The agreement was signed on January 13, 2025, by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST) on behalf of UCP, and Mr. Hasan Anwer Zuberi, Chairman of Mensa Pakistan.
This collaboration will bring Mensa’s globally recognized IQ testing expertise to UCP’s 3rd Science & Engineering FEST, scheduled for January 21-22, 2025. Participants will have the opportunity to take Mensa’s standardized IQ tests and possibly qualify for membership. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman from FOST, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Abubakar Siddiq Alvi, Secretary of Mensa Pakistan. This partnership demonstrates UCP’s commitment to fostering intellectual growth and providing valuable opportunities for its academic community.
