The 25th Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) meeting
The 25th Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) meeting was held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore. The meeting was chaired by the Pro-Rector UCP, Dr. Hadia Awan in the presence of external and internal experts. The external experts Prof. Dr. Hamid Hassan (Director Campus, NU, Lahore) and Dr. Muhammad Irfan (Head ILO, PCSIR, Lahore.) specially graced the meeting and appreciated the expeditious efforts of UCP and GSO in the promotion of quality Education.
Registrar, Director Academics, Deans, heads of departments, and other relevant Officials were also present in the meeting. Head GSO opened the meeting with the recitation of verses from The Holy Quran and shared a brief introduction of the agenda items of the meeting followed by the detailed presentation of agenda items. The Pro-Rector expressed profound appreciation for the exceptional efforts demonstrated by the Head of Graduate Studies Office (GSO), acknowledging their significant contributions and dedication to excellence. The board members also shared valuable suggestions with the Pro-Rector for future research work.
