Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization’s 27th Steering Committee Meeting chaired by Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed highlighted the ongoing commitment to research and collaboration. Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Dr. Hafiza Rizwan Kausar, Dr. Ahmad Junaid Rasheed (Ferozsons), Mr. Sarim Mehmood (Fruits of Sustainability), Mr. Ahmad Waqar (Decathlon), Mr. Sohail Ali and Ms. Sehrish Akram (Pikes Soft), Mr. Muhammad Waqas (Dafi Labs), Mr. Riaz Ahmad (Riaz & Co.), Mr. Rana Faisal Shabbir (Rana Rice Mills) and Dr. Faiza Anum (ORIC) were in attedance. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh presented ORIC’s key achievements and outlined future initiatives, including upcoming research projects, planned industry collaborations, and new capacity-building programs to ensure continued advancement in research excellence, innovation, commercialization, entrepreneurship, and internationalization. The session included research publications, funded projects, patent activities, faculty capacity-building programs, industry partnerships, and startup support initiatives.
